This module is based off the Bergfotron 'Advanced VCO' Core, which in turn is based off a Buchla inspired Triangle core VCO. The exponential circuit, sync circuit, and fm moduation circuit was added and not part of the original advanced vco.
What does this do?
This is an analog triangle core oscillator. What this means is the first internal wave produced is a triangle wave. Then wave shaper circuits help form the other wave shapes in the chain. This modules produces the main audio for your synthesizer. Consider it your main 'voice'.
So why would you care to use a triangle core vco?
The secret is all in the 'Sync' Circuit. Saw based vco's can not hard sync like a triangle core vco.
